Kevin Aviance was a famous club diva performance artist a fierce loud and angry queen. I 1999 he performed at Thread Waxing Space where I worked and gave me a copy of the Join The Chant album. A few years ago he was nearly murdered in a horrible gay bashing. You can read about it at kevinaviance.com
